Details
Opened in 2004, Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett was the first full-service, total health care facility in a rapidly growing area of the Memphis region. The design of the 156-bed facility responded to the full range of medical specialties – oncology, women’s health services, diabetes care, cardiology, medical/surgical beds; 16 orthopedic/spine beds; 10 mother-baby suites; 10 neonatal intensive care; 16-bed Class A intensive care unit; and 16 progressive care unit beds.
The hospital also has a helipad and the Memphis area’s first linear accelerator to fight cancer. In addition to the hospital’s architectural design, we also handled the interior design of the adjacent medical building. Our design of the hospital was based on a master plan our firm developed that envisioned an accredited, next-generation hospital in what was then a soybean field. We also we assisted in obtaining the state certifications that allowed the hospital to be built.
