University of Memphis’ western boundary is Highland Street, which was undergoing a burst of new investment, new restaurants, and new apartments. The University Neighborhoods Development Corporation (UNDC) is committed to a thriving campus and community environment by improving the physical and economic infrastructure of the neighborhoods surrounding the University of Memphis. The UNDC’s Highland Street Improvements Project is an investment in new sidewalks, medians, landscaping, and utility relocation. Our firm is program manager for the $6 million project from Midland Avenue to Southern Avenue which will result in new landscaping, a traffic calming table, slower traffic, two crosswalks, a median, and new lighting.
